A new £3 million development next to a successful business park in Southam demonstrates the healthy demand for commercial property in the county, according to a leading Warwickshire firm of commercial property consultants.
The Maricott Court development, which will be based adjacent to the Holywell Business Park, in Northfield Road, will boast 13 new industrial and warehouse units and the first phase is planned to be competed in the final quarter of 2018.
The three-acre development is the final phase of the site, which is already home to companies including Tesco, Find Me A Gift and The Tool Connection.
The new units, which will range from 1,873 sq ft to 6,268 sq ft, will be marketed for lease and sale freehold by Leamington-based ehB Commercial.
Two of the units have been pre-sold off plan and are already under offer.
Simon Hain, agency director at ehB Commercial, said:
“We have further strong interest in this site and expect interest to grow as the industrial sector is one of the strongest-performing commercial property sectors at the moment.
“Any development of this size promises a significant boost to the local economy, with the prospect of big-name companies moving in and creating jobs.
“The Holywell Business Park has been a major success and we have every confidence this final piece in the jigsaw will be no different. This development shows how buoyant the market is.”
